Feedback Worthy
A SaaS product that lets businesses collect written testimonials through a simple form and turn them into embeddable, on-brand widgets, no developer required, co-built with Osaf Ali Sayed.

Challenge
The idea was simple, but the process wasn't. Businesses often have good customer feedback sitting in emails, messages, or DMs, but collecting it and putting it on their website takes time. They usually need to send requests manually, organize the responses, and then ask a developer or designer to turn them into something presentable. FeedbackWorthy was built to make that process much easier. A business can collect testimonials, choose the ones they want to use, customize how they look, and add them to their website in just a few minutes, without writing any code.
Solution
I co-built FeedbackWorthy with Osaf Ali Sayed as a simple SaaS product that takes users through the full testimonial process in a few steps. They can share a form to collect testimonials, choose how they want to display them, customize the look and feel, and then add the finished widget to their website with a simple embed code. Behind that simple flow, there’s a complete SaaS system with workspaces, testimonial forms, billing, and usage limits based on the customer’s plan. So it’s not just a landing page with a demo. The actual product, billing, and limits all work together.
Project Overview
FeedbackWorthy is a SaaS product for collecting customer testimonials and displaying them on a website as ready-to-use testimonial widgets.
I co-built the product with Osaf Ali Sayed and worked across the product end to end, including the marketing website, SaaS dashboard, testimonial collection flow, widget builder, and billing system.
The idea behind the product is simple: make it easy for businesses to collect good customer feedback and turn that feedback into social proof they can actually use on their website.
Showing The Product From The Start
The marketing website was built around the actual product rather than using static screenshots or generic illustrations.
The main message is simple: “Collect testimonials that actually convert.”
Right below the hero section, visitors can see a live Wall of Love component using real testimonial data, along with the embed code that powers it.

This makes it clear what FeedbackWorthy does before the visitor even enters the application.
Simple Pricing With Real Usage Limits
FeedbackWorthy has three pricing plans: Free, Starter, and Growth.
The Free plan gives users a way to try the product without entering a payment method, while the paid plans provide higher limits, more forms and embeds, and additional workspace support.

Billing is handled through Lemon Squeezy, and the application checks the user's current plan and usage before allowing actions that would exceed their limits.
Collecting Customer Testimonials
Inside a workspace, users can collect testimonials through a shareable form.
Submitted testimonials appear in the dashboard with information such as the customer's rating and testimonial source. Search and filtering make it easier to find specific feedback when a workspace starts getting more reviews.

Users can also add testimonials manually. This is useful when a customer has already sent feedback through email, WhatsApp, social media, or another channel.
So the product doesn't force every piece of feedback through the collection form. It gives the user one place to manage all of it.
Turning Reviews Into A Website Widget
Once testimonials are collected, users can turn them into a website component through the widget builder.
The builder is split into a simple flow: choose the testimonials, select a layout, customize the appearance, and preview the result before publishing.

There are four layouts available:
- Wall of Love
- Carousel
- Horizontal Scroll
- Vertical Scroll
Each layout has a live preview, so users can see how their testimonials will look before adding them to their website.
Embed It Without A Developer
After the widget is ready, FeedbackWorthy generates the embed code automatically.

The customer only needs to copy the generated snippet and add it to their website. There is no framework-specific setup or build process required.
This was an important part of the product because the target user isn't necessarily a developer. Someone should be able to collect a few testimonials and publish them without needing to ask a developer for help.
Billing & Usage Tracking
The billing section shows the customer's current plan and how much of each available resource they're using.

Users can see their testimonial, form, workspace, and widget usage from one place.
When a limit is reached, the application shows the relevant upgrade option instead of leaving the user wondering why they can't perform an action.
This also keeps the subscription logic connected to the actual product instead of treating billing as something separate from the application.
Workspace-Based Structure
FeedbackWorthy uses workspaces to organize testimonials, forms, widgets, and branding.
This allows one account to manage multiple products or brands without mixing their data together.
The main areas of the application include:
- Workspaces and branding
- Testimonial collection
- Testimonial management
- Widget builder
- Widget layouts and styling
- Billing and usage
- Public marketing and pricing pages
Building the workspace structure into the product from the beginning also made it possible to support multiple workspaces on the Growth plan without changing the core application structure later.
The Result
FeedbackWorthy takes the process from collecting a customer review to displaying it on a website and puts everything in one place.
A business can share a testimonial form, collect responses, select the reviews they want to use, choose a layout, customize the widget, and publish it with a simple embed code.
From a development perspective, the interesting part wasn't just building the testimonial UI. The product also needed real SaaS functionality behind it, including workspaces, authentication, usage limits, billing, widget generation, and a system that connects the collected testimonials to the public embeds.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Next.js / API
- Database: Supabase, Prisma
- Billing: Lemon Squeezy
- SaaS Features: Workspaces, authentication, usage limits, widget builder
- Deployment: Vercel \
Results
- Built a shareable collection form so customers can submit a written testimonial without creating an account.
- Built four embeddable widget layouts (Wall of Love, Carousel, Horizontal Scroll, Vertical Scroll) generated from the same reviews in one click.
- Reduced going live to copying one script tag, no developer or custom CSS required to match a brand.
- Built a real subscription system (Free, Starter, Growth) with per-plan usage limits for testimonials, forms, workspaces, and embed widgets.
- Added a usage dashboard so customers can see exactly how close they are to their plan's limits before upgrading.
- Gave every workspace its own branding (name, slug, logo, brand color) so embeds can match a customer's own site.
- Processed payments through Lemon Squeezy with a permanent free tier, so nobody has to pay just to try the product.
